- Nationality: Indian.
- Education: Post-wise as above; engineering through regular/full-time courses; other programs from recognized universities/AICTE/UGC-accredited bodies; certificate courses may be part-time.
- Experience counting: Only full-time salaried roles; PSU MT/ET/GT training and Apprenticeship count; entrepreneurial/freelance not counted; Teaching counted only for Post Code 05; intermittent jobs counted by actual engaged days.
- Cut-off date: 10.10.2025 for age and experience.
Age Limit –
- Upper age: 50 years for all posts.
- Relaxations: OBC (NCL): +3 yrs; SC/ST: +5 yrs; PwD: +10 yrs (UR), +13 yrs (OBC), +15 yrs (SC/ST); J&K domicile (01.01.1980–31.12.1989): +5 yrs; Ex-Servicemen as per GoI norms.

Salary –
- Monthly remuneration: ₹42,800 to ₹87,750 (post-wise) + admissible allowances/benefits for contract staff (metro/site allowance or HRA, PF, medical, leave, GPA).

- SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Internal: Exempt
Selection Process –
- Mode: Personal Interview (management may change if required).
- Intimation: Shortlist, interview schedule, and final selection list on the MECON website; email to registered IDs.
- TA for interview: For eligible out-of-station candidates—rail (3A/CC) or ₹7/km by road on production of proof; internal candidates as per company rules.
