IRCTC Hospitality Monitors Recruitment 2025 for Railways has issued a notification for the recruitment of hospitality monitors on a fixed-term contract basis. The total number of posts being filled through this recruitment drive is 46; these are for multiple locations in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.
The engagement shall be initially for a period of two years, extendable for one more year depending upon the performance and requirements of the organization. Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview conducted at the IRCTC South Central Zone office in Secunderabad, Telangana.

Educational Qualification
- Full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State Institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SHIM/PHIM) affiliated with NCHMCT, UGC, AICTE, or the Government of India.
- BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from the Indian Culinary Institute, which works under the Ministry of Tourism.
- B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from UGC/AICTE/State Government-approved institutions.
- MBA in Tourism & Hotel Management obtained from a UGC/AICTE-approved university.
Salary
- CTC: ₹30,000- per month inclusive of statutory deductions
- Daily Allowance: ₹350- per day while on duty on board the trains
- Lodging Charges: ₹ 240- per night if an overnight stay is required outside headquarters
- National Holiday Allowance: ₹ 384- per National Holiday (if worked)
- Medical Insurance: ₹1,400 per month for age up to 35 years ₹2,000 per month for age 36–50 years

Selection Process
- Candidates should bring a duly filled application form along with the original documents, two passport-size photographs, and one set of self-attested copies of educational and experience certificates.
- The ultimate selection will depend on the candidate’s qualifications as well as their performance during the personal interview.

Medical Fitness
- Candidates must be declared medically fit as per IRCTC’s standards.
- Before the final appointment is confirmed, candidates must pass the prescribed medical examination.
General Conditions
- It is purely a contractual engagement, and permanent employment is not implied.
- The contract can be terminated by either party upon one month’s notice.
- Candidates must be Indian nationals only.
- Applicants employed in the Govt/PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate during the interview.
- A refundable security deposit of ₹25,000 should be submitted by demand draft at the time of joining, which is refunded on completion of one year of service.
- No travel or daily allowance will be given to the candidates for appearing in the walk-in interview.
- Preference would be given to candidates well-versed in the use of MS Office and those capable of preparing reports effectively.
