This part matters the most – it’s built on Diploma or B.Tech-level work in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, just like the entry rules say.
Basic Electrical Engineering: Ohm’s law, AC/DC fundamentals, single-phase and three-phase systems, power factor, earthing, cables, and protection devices.
Electrical Machines: transformers, DC machines, induction motors, synchronous machines, starting and speed control, efficiency and losses.
Power Systems: generation, transmission, and distribution basics; substation equipment; switchgear; circuit breakers; relays; fault types; load management.
Measurements & Instruments: ammeter, voltmeter, wattmeter, energy meter, CT/PT, basic transducers, and measurement errors.
